Throughout the district, Todd County Schools are busy wrapping up their fall semesters.
Superintendent Mark Thomas offers his congratulations to TCCHS’s esports team, who just wrapped up their fall season with appearances in state playoffs. Thomas says he is proud of how the team represented the school and district throughout the fall and wishes them the best as they prepare for their spring season.
Jumping into the winter sports season, high school basketball began last week and Thomas says the boys and girls teams are performing very well. He adds the middle school’s basketball teams are already halfway through their seasons and currently in district play.
There are still a few Christmas concerts before the semester ends – Todd Middle’s band will perform their Christmas concert Tuesday, Dec. 10 and the high school will hold its performance the following week Tuesday, Dec. 17.
During the afternoon Friday. Dec. 20 and all day Saturday, Dec. 21, the TCCHS boys basketball team is hosting a holiday tournament, Battle at the Border, sponsored by United Southern Bank.
Thomas shares Friday, Dec. 20 will be an early release day for students, marking the start of the district’s winter break. Students will return to campus Monday, Jan. 6, 2025.
