Graveside services with military honors for 77-year-old David Paul Young, of Elkton, will be 1 PM Thursday at Kentucky Veterans Cemetery West.
Latham Funeral Home is in charge of arrangements.
Survivors include:
His son, Cody Justin Young, of Elkton,
His step-daughter, Dawn Smoczynski and her husband, Mike, of Lacanto, Florida;
His sister, Linda Young, of Tallahassee, Florida,
His step-grandchildren, Brandon and Randal Smoczynski,
And his step-great grandchildren, Bjorn and Roman.
Rev. Mike Cummings will preside.
Young died Monday, November 25, 2024, at Tennova Healthcare in Clarksville, Tennessee.
He was born December 11, 1946, in Hopkinsville.
He was retired from Dana Industries in Hopkinsville and the Todd County School Board as a bus driver. He was a member of Elkton Baptist Church and was a U.S. Navy veteran.
He was preceded in death by his parents, David “Spike and Dona Cain Young, his wife, Pat Young, his brothers, Jim Young and Phil Young.
