The Todd County Funeral Home is honored to have been called to serve the family of Mr. Henry Wilson Wells.
Mr. Henry Wells, age 87 of Elkton, passed away on Saturday, December 7th at Jennie Stuart Medical Center in Hopkinsville.
Henry was born December 29, 1936 in Todd County, Kentucky son of the late Woodrow and Dena Rager Wells.
He was a member of the Elkton Church of the Nazarene and was retired from Flynn Enterprises. He loved his family and friends, was a UK basketball fan, enjoyed camping and watching drag racing.
In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by his wife, Lucille Wells and a grandson, Barry Shemwell. He is survived by a son, Dwayne Wells of Russellville; a daughter, Teressa Shemwell (Larry) of Claymour; two brothers, Billy Joe Wells and Russell Wells both of Elkton; a special friend, Mattie Hancock of Hopkinsville; three grandchildren, Brandon Shemwell (Debra), Ashlee Arnold (Lee) and Adam Wells (Ashley) and six great grandchildren, Luke, Landen and Hannah Arnold and Axel, Lucy and Lynnon Wells.
Visitation with the Wells family will be on Wednesday, December 11th from 11:00 until funeral service time at 1:00 in the Rose Chapel of the Todd County Funeral Home with Rev. Shane Hessey and Rev. Mitch Hedge officiating.
Interment will follow at the Stokes Chapel Cemetery in Elkton.
