Todd County students are currently out of school on Thanksgiving Break, but they can expect plenty of festivities commence when they return in December.
Superintendent Mark Thomas says students will return to campus Monday, Dec. 2 – the same day TCCHS’s boys and girls basketball seasons officially begin. He adds Todd Middle’s basketball teams continue to play well in their current seasons and encourages the community to come out and support the schools during their home games.
The TCCHS cheerleading squad is also doing well as Thomas shares they recently received a bid for the Universal Cheerleaders Association (UCA) national competition. He also offers his congratulations to the high school’s esports league, who has been playing very well throughout the season with two teams in the state playoffs.
Christmas concerts will begin later in December throughout the district, beginning with Todd Middle’s band concert Tuesday, Dec. 10 and TCCHS’s Thursday, Dec. 12.
