The Green River Academy invites the public to attend its annual meeting Thursday, Nov. 21.
According to a press release from the organization, the academy states the gathering is an opportunity for current Green River Academy Preservation Society members and interested community members to come together and engage with the academy’s vision and future plans.
During the meeting, the academy will discuss current goals, preservation effort updates, and share a presentation on the past year’s achievements. Members will also have the opportunity to vote in a board election and discuss future initiatives, including potentially starting tours of the historic building in 2025.
The Green River Academy encourages anyone with a passion for local history, preservation and education to attend the meeting and join the organization to become part of a dedicated community keeping history alive in Todd County.
The meeting will be held at 5 p.m. at the new Todd County Public Library in Elkton. For more information and to RSVP, contact the academy board at info@greenriveracademy.com.
