A few changes are ahead for the November General Election for Todd County voters.

Clerk Cindy O’Bryan told Your WEKT News Edge that the most pressing change is the Election Day voting location for Kirkmansville precinct-B104 voters. Previously, Helen’s Place was the voting location, it will now be North Todd Elementary School.

Additionally, O’Bryan confirmed that former school board District 3 member Kelly Groves withdrew from the race Thursday. That means any votes cast for her will not count.

Greg Russell and Ashley Hadden have also filed to run as write-in candidates for the District 3 seat. In mid-October, Russell was appointed by the school board to fill the seat after Groves resigned to accept a position within the district.

In-person, excuse absentee voting will continue weekdays through October 30th at the Todd County Clerk’s Office at 202 East Washington Street in Elkton.

In-person, no-excuse voting will take place Thursday, October 31 through Saturday, November 2 from 8:30 AM to 4:30 PM at the clerk’s office.

Election Day is Tuesday, November 5 and voting will occur at your designated polling location from 6:00 AM to 6:00 PM.
