With fifty-one entries in the Todd County Bale Trail judges had their work cut out for them to choose the winners in the scarecrow and hay bale categories this year.
Todd County Chamber of Commerce Director Tiffany Groves announced Thursday afternoon that four winners were selected through the judging process.
In the scarecrow category entry number nine “Don’t Be Scared of a Little Smoke” took top honors.
In the hay bale division small category entry number one “Hay! Your Barn is on Fire” took first place.
In the large category number 14 “Howdy Hay-nk” took the top prize.
And in the mega division entry number six “Battle of the Barrell” at Kentucky-Tenneesse Livestock Market was the winner.
Groves thanked this year’s team of judges that included Kristen Knight from headline sponsor Hopkinsville Electric System and Energynet, Gold Level Chamber member Matthew Collin Bailey, Trigg County Chamber of Commerce Membership Director Tara Hall, Abby Thompson from the Lexington Children’s Museum, and Travelin the Bluegrass host Alan Watts.
Voting for the Fan Favorite continues through October 31st on the Todd County Chamber of Commerce website.
