A burn ban has been issued for the second time this year for Todd County.
Emergency officials tell Your WEKT News Edge that the ban is in effect until further notice, as the region has not seen measurable rainfall in the last few weeks.
The Kentucky Energy and Environment Cabinet says burning of forests, grass, crops, woodlands, marshes, and similar areas are prohibited. They add burning leaves or debris, campfires, bonfires and warming fires are also not allowed.
