The Todd County Funeral Home is honored to have been called to serve the family of Mrs. Lee Ellen Joiner.
Mrs. Joiner, age 61 of Fairview, Kentucky passed away on Saturday morning October 19th, 2024, at her home.
Mrs. Joiner was born December 20, 1961, in Ft. Campbell, Kentucky daughter of Delward E. and Deloris Gales Carter. She was a member of Bethel Baptist Church, she loved her family, friends, and horseback riding. She was a retired Registered Nurse and had a deep passion for teaching Nursing at the Logan County Vocational School.
Mrs. Joiner is survived by her husband Terry Joiner of Fairview, one son Mitchell Joiner, and wife Baylee of Russellville. She is also survived by two brothers Cecil Carter and wife Kathy of Unicoi, Tennessee, and David Carter and wife Cheryl of Seattle, Washington as well as one sister Deborah Jackson and husband Stan of Nashville, Tennessee.
Visitation with the Joiner family will be held on Tuesday, October 22nd, 2024, from 11:00 until 1:00 at the Todd County Funeral Home. Funeral service is scheduled to be conducted on Tuesday afternoon at 1:00 in the Rose Chapel of the Todd County Funeral Home with Reverend Mike Boyd officiating, with interment to follow at the Flat Lick Cemetery in Christian County.
In lieu of flowers, the family requests that donations be made to the Bethel Baptist Church Fellowship Building, which she was very proud of. Those donations can be made at the funeral home or mailed to P.O. Box 156 Fairview, Kentucky 42241.
