Pennyrile Electric is scheduling a power outage of up to four hours on Sunday morning to allow TVA to perform necessary maintenance.
Spokesman Brent Gilkey says the outage will affect 2,669 members served by the Fruit Hill Substation (customers in north Christian and Todd counties and a portion of southern Muhlenberg County). Communities impacted include Allegre, Apex, Crofton, Fearsville, Kirkmansville, and Mt. Tabor.
Gilkey adds the outage will begin around 12:01 on Sunday morning. Temperatures during this outage are expected to be in the low 40s.
