A partnership between Black Soil of Kentucky, the Todd County Chamber of Commerce, WEKT, and Your Ag Edge Network will yield a variety of produce that will be given away during the Elkton Harvest Festival Saturday.
Todd County Chamber member Kelvin DeBerry organized the purchase of produce from Todd County farmers for the giveaway. DeBerry says it took a little work to locate farmers who still have produce, but through his contacts he was able to put together a nice selection.

click to download audioThe Black Soil Sprout food truck will be parked at the Elkton Post Office Saturday during the Elkton Harvest Festival. Black Soil will distribute Todd County produce and a limited number boxes containing pork burger patties during the festival.
