As Election Day approaches in November, Todd County Clerk Cynthia O’Bryan wants to make sure the community is informed about voter readiness.
Voters can verify their registration status as well as update their address or name change HERE or by calling 270-265-9966 Ext. 1. The deadline for making any changes is Monday, Oct. 7 at 4 p.m.
The online absentee mail-in portal opened last week and will remain open until Tuesday, Oct. 22. Voting by mail has certain restrictions which are detailed on the portal online.
Voting absentee is also available in-person, with absentee walk-ins taking place Wednesday Oct. 23 through Wednesday, Oct. 30 from 8 a.m. – 4:30 p.m. at the courthouse on East Washington Street in Elkton. Certain restrictions apply to absentee walk-ins.
Early voting has no restrictions and will be held Thursday, Oct. 31 through Saturday, Nov. 2 from 8 a.m. – 4 p.m. Early voting will take place at the East Washington Street courthouse as well.
Election Day will be held Tuesday, Nov. 5. Voters must bring a valid ID and cast their ballots at their designated voting precincts.
