Todd County Middle School Celebrating Homecoming Week Soon

Todd County Middle School’s homecoming week begins Monday, September 23.

The school has a spirit day planned for each day in preparation for the football games and ceremony at the end of the week.

Monday, Sept. 23 will be pajama day for the school. Monday is also eighth grade volleyball night as well as the softball district tournament, which will be held at the high school.

Tuesday, Sept. 24 is twin day, where students find a classmate to be their “twin” and dress alike. The football team will play Franklin-Simpson at their field in Franklin, Kentucky.

Wednesday, Sept. 25 is generation’s day. The school invites the sixth graders to dress as babies, the seventh grades as middle-aged adults and eighth graders as senior citizens.

Thursday, Sept. 26 is country vs. country club. Students can choose between wearing camouflage or a country-style outfit versus “frat boy” attire. Thursday has a few festivities with the middle school parade beginning at 2 p.m. and the homecoming football game against Henry Moss Middle at 6 p.m. The crowning ceremony will be held at halftime.

Friday, Sept. 27 will be color wars. Sixth graders are encouraged to wear grey, seventh graders to wear white and eighth graders to wear red. TCCHS’s football team will play Russellville at home at 7 p.m.
