Music Monday – Rae Radick

Another talented musician joining the 2024 Harvestfest lineup is country singer-songwriter Rae Radick.

Radick is based out of both Nashville, Tennessee, and New York, New York, but originally hails from Pennsylvania. Radick says she initially entered the entertainment world as a dancer and model, and eventually an actress, before falling love with writing songs, releasing her first CD at age 16.

Radick won some awards for her roles in various indie films, including “The Perfect Storm.” She was even featured in a Super Bowl commercial.

As much as she loves acting, Radick realized after the COVID-19 pandemic that she missed making music and two years ago, decided to move to Nashville, where she has been doing music full-time ever since.

In Elkton, Radick will be performing a solo acoustic set, featuring a mix of original songs and covers. She says her vibe is country-pop and credits Stevie Nicks as one of her music inspirations – “Dreams” by Fleetwood Mac may even make an appearance in her set-list.

Radick adds she believes in connecting with others through music and loves when she sees people sing and dance during her shows.

While Radick will appear alone at Harvestfest, she typically performs with a full band. The group has an upcoming tribute show, “Iconic Women of Music”, at the Franklin Theatre in Franklin, Tennessee Wednesday, Oct. 2.

Radick will kick off the musical performances Saturday, Sept. 28 at 10 a.m. as Harvestfest’s first performer of the day.
