The Todd County Funeral Home is honored to have been called to serve the family of Mr. David Allen Smart.
Mr. David Smart, 77, of Elkton, passed away on Sunday, August 18th at Jennie Stuart Medical Center in Hopkinsville.
David was born September 22, 1946, in San Bernardino, California son of the late William and Evelyn Yates Smart.
He was a Stokes Chapel Church member and a veteran of the United States Marines. He loved his family and enjoyed playing golf.
He was preceded in death by his parents. He is survived by his wife, Kathy Smart of Elkton; stepson, Jeff Tarkington of Elkton; a daughter, Carrie Massi of Sun Valley, California; a brother, Dale Smart of Highland, California and a sister, Chris Gonzalez of Arizona.
Visitation with the Smart family will be on Friday, August 23rd from 10:00 until funeral service time at 11:30 in the Rose Chapel of the Todd County Funeral Home with Rev. Gary Chapman officiating. Interment will follow at the Kentucky Veteran’s Cemetery West in Hopkinsville.
