The Todd County AXIS program, established to support students’ social and well-being through mental health case management, is again prepared to assist students this school year.
The program, established through a partnership between Todd County Public Schools and the Todd County Health Department, is entering year four of services. Mental Health Case Manager Kari Haley tells Your WEKT News Edge they are a free service for any students in the district.
Haley, who has been working with students since the program’s inception, observes academic behavioral changes in those she works with.
