A Guthrie woman was charged Thursday with trafficking drugs after a traffic stop on Graysville Road in Todd County involving several law enforcement agencies.

Todd County Sheriff’s deputies say 47-year-old Samie Drown was stopped by Guthrie Police Officer Tyler Honeycutt and was found to have suspected fentanyl that she brought from Clarksville.

The traffic stop was part of a joint investigation involving the Pennyrile Narcotics Task Force, The Todd County Sheriff’s Office, and the Guthrie Police Department.

Drown was arrested and charged with failure to maintain required insurance, careless driving, failure to notify address change to the Department of Transportation, trafficking fentanyl, and importing fentanyl.
