A Clarksville man was killed in a wreck on US 79 in Allensville Thursday morning.
Todd County Sheriff’s deputies say a southbound tractor-trailer driven by 30-year-old Mikal Dukes of Greenville was hauling rolls of aluminum, when one came off the truck, and collided with a northbound car driven by 29-year-old Edwin Chaparro.
Chaparro was pronounced dead at the scene by the Todd County Coroner’s Office.
US 79 was closed from Kentucky 102 to Dr. Boyles Road for several hours as the crash was investigated.
