The Todd County School District is hard at work preparing for the new school year as students return to school in the next few weeks.
On behalf of the Board of Education and staff, Superintendent Mark Thomas says he hopes everyone has had a wonderful summer break and adds he is so excited for the students to return to campus for the 2024-25 school year.
Thomas says there is some fabulous staff returning and some new staff joining the district as well. Schools will be using their Facebook pages to introduce new staff members.
He notes the district’s open house dates are as follows:
Thursday, Aug. 1: North Todd Elementary, 4-7 p.m.
Friday, Aug. 2: Todd County Middle School, 4:30-7:30 p.m.
Monday, Aug. 5: South Todd Elementary, 5-7 p.m.
Tuesday, Aug. 6: Todd County Central High School, 4:30-7 p.m.
Preschool open houses will take place Thursday, Aug. 15 from 5-7 p.m. at both elementary schools.
Todd County’s first day of school is Friday, Aug. 9 for grades K-12 and Monday, Aug. 19 for preschool.
