A man was charged after he reportedly led law enforcement on a pursuit in Todd County Monday morning.
Todd County Sheriff’s deputies say they attempted to stop a motorcycle driven by 21-year-old Takota Newswanger on US 68 at Goshen Road and he fled at a high rate of speed before the pursuit came to an end near the intersection of Old Quarry Road and Newswanger was taken into custody.
He was reportedly found to be in possession of marijuana.
Newswanger was arrested and charged with first-degree fleeing or evading police, DUI, possession of marijuana, and several traffic offenses.
