Man Killed In Crash Involving Horse And Buggy

A man was killed and a second man was charged after a wreck on Butler Road in Todd County Thursday night.

Todd County Sheriff’s deputies say a truck driven by 35-year-old Adam Jones collided with a horse and buggy driven by Mark Hoover when the horse crossed into his lane at the 5000 block of Butler Road just after 9 p.m.

Hoover was taken to Jennie Stuart Health but later died from his injuries. A passenger in the buggy was not injured in the crash.

Jones was arrested and charged with DUI, first-degree wanton endangerment, and murder.
