Todd County Middle School announced Monday the promotion of Steven McGhee, who will now serve as assistant principal.
McGhee has 14 years of educational experience, with degrees from Lindsey Wilson College, University of the Cumberlands, and Western Kentucky University.
He began his career at Todd County Central High School, teaching social studies and mathematics for six years while coaching various sports teams. He then taught at Russellville Jr./Sr. High School before returning to Todd County Middle School in 2019, where he taught seventh-grade social studies and math and served as athletic director.
Outside of school, McGhee enjoys spending time with his wife, Ashley, and their two sons, Noah and Jace. He also enjoys watching his boys play sports, gardening, and cattle farming.
