Dr. Cherise Williams Named Todd County Schools’ Director Of District Wide Services

Todd County Superintendent Mark Thomas recently announced Dr. Cherise Williams will be joining the school district as the Director of District Wide Services.

Williams has been an educator for 30 years and has a multitude of school administrative experience, something Thomas says will bode well for the district as she draws upon it in her new role. Her career began in southwest Florida as a teacher, and throughout her life, she has served in various roles such as literary specialist, Dean, Assistant Principal and Principal, spanning across elementary, middle and high school settings.

For the past 11 years, Williams has been a Principal for Christian County Public Schools. Additionally, she earned her doctoral degree from the University of Kentucky in 2020.

Thomas says a definite strength of Williams is guiding and shaping instructional practices in classrooms. He adds she will be a huge asset to the district’s administrators and teaching staff as they continue to grow students’ achievements.
