Todd County PTO And FRYSC Presents Mother-Son Sneaker Ball

TCCHS PTO and Todd County’s Family Resource and Youth Services Centers are partnering to present a special Mother’s Day event Saturday, May 11.

The Mother-Son Sneaker Ball is a fundraising event for the Happy Feet Shoe Program, sponsored by Todd County FRYSC. FRYSC Coordinator Kelli Templeman says both the FRYSC and PTO will equally split the event’s proceeds.

She adds they are looking to raise $6,000 for the program in order to provide 200 pairs of shoes for students throughout the 2024-25 school year and 150 people have signed up so far.

Those interested in attending the sneaker ball dance are welcome to sign up at the door Saturday. Templeman says they cannot accept any online payments, only cash or check. Ticket cost for a mother with one son is $25, $35 for a mother with two sons and $5 for each additional son.
