Audrea Ann Fiese Clairmont is a 1995 graduate of Todd County Central High School.
She values most from her time at Todd Central learning accounting from Ms. Browning, writing from Ms. Wells as well as her experience with Project Graduation. She says she remembers one thing the most from high school – homework, homework, homework!
Clairmont advises current Todd Central students to do what they love, not what other expect of them or what simply makes money.
To current educators, she says to provide experiences that speak to each student and will make the best difference in their lives, not just teach what is required.
After graduating, she earned an associate’s degree from Hopkinsville Community College before earning a bachelor’s in elementary education from Austin Peay State University. She later earned a master’s in library science from Western Kentucky University.
Clairmont says there are two roles throughout her career that hold the most significance to her – teaching English in South Korea and being a librarian in Todd County.
Audrea lives in Elkton with her spouse, Quinn Raymond Clairmont, or “Moose,” and has four children, Ivan, Jasi, Cordell and Orrin.
