North Todd Elementary Principal Bruce Voth says the school’s site-based council has been busy with staffing and three new teacher hires will be joining North Todd’s family.
In a Wildcat Chat meeting on Monday, April 15, Voth announced Robin Carlow, Kristin Dent, and Keribeth Farlow will all begin their new roles in July of this year and offered his congratulations to the trio.
Cardwell comes from South Todd Elementary and has been teaching kindergarten this year, but will be joining North Todd as its health/PE instructor. Voth says she is a fantastic gym teacher and thinks the school’s students will be both well-educated and fit — and adds he can’t ask for much better than that.
Dent will serve as North Todd’s second and third-grade special education teacher and Farlow will join the team in fifth-grade English/language arts (ELA).
Voth adds Farlow was previously a teacher mentor in Christian County where she supervised student teachers, even supervising Todd County’s own Taylor Wilson, now a fifth-grade math teacher with the district.
While Voth will not return to North Todd as principal after his retirement at the end of the 2023-24 school year, he says he is excited to see some great instruction from the new hires when he comes back in September as a volunteer.
