Chelsey (Dill) Shelby is a 2014 graduate of Todd County Central High School.
She values most from her time in school her friendships, as well as the memories she made — especially the year the senior class released a bunch of chickens with the keys to the school gym tied to one of the chicken’s legs.
Shelby advises current Todd Central students to make the best of their high school years because they are some of their best years.
To current educators, she says no matter how hard it gets, keep pushing. She adds they make a difference in so many children’s lives, so not to let the small things turn them from something they love.
After graduating, Shelby briefly attended Hopkinsville Community College.
Shelby was born in Hopkinsville and currently lives in Guthrie with her husband Bryan. They have five children, Madelynn, Kayson, Kinsley, Levi and Ivy. Shelby adds she and her husband take their kids on a big vacation to a new destination every year and love seeing their reactions to each new environment.
