While the online auction for the Elkton Rotary Club continues through Friday afternoon, the organization is still accepting $100 donations for the Bryan Blount, III Century Club.
Auction co-chairs Kelvin DeBerry and Rhonda Werner shared more about the new way to fundraise for the group Friday during a live broadcast powered by Novelis. DeBerry said Blount made a huge impact on our community.
He added this opportunity has proven there are other ways to fundraise and it has seen great success.
As of Monday afternoon, the Elkton Rotary Club was shy of 140 Century Club contributions. The group is well over halfway to its $25,000 auction goal.
Werner added that some community members have pledged to make a Century Club donation, but have not turned in that money. Donations can be given to any Elkton Rotarian, mailed to P.O. Box 60; Elkton, Kentucky; 42240, or contact her at (270) 313-4017 to arrange a pick up.
