Two inmates at the Todd County Detention Center were charged with trafficking drugs after an investigation involving three different agencies Monday.
Todd County Sheriff’s deputies say they were called by jail staff after drugs were found inside the jail and an investigation including jail staff, the Todd County Sheriff’s Office and the Pennyrile Narcotics Task Force led to Suboxone and tobacco being located.
24-year-old Cooper Cortez and 40-year-old Matthew Goesman both of Louisville who were incarcerated in the jail were both charged with third-degree trafficking a controlled substance and promoting contraband.
