The Todd County Chamber of Commerce has announced it will host the Third Annual Todd County Pageant on April 27.
Chamber President Tiffany Groves says she is excited to welcome youth from all over the county to participate in the event. The pageant will feature eight different age group categories for boys and girls ages newborn through eight years and young ladies ages nine-21. The “Miss Todd County” category, ages 16-21, will be the last and biggest event of the day, says Groves.
The “Miss Todd County” winner will receive a $1,000 scholarship, the first runner-up will receive $500, the second runner-up will receive $250, and “Best Personality” and “Miss Congeniality” winners will both receive $100. Winners of each category will receive a crown, banner, and trophy.
“Miss Todd County” is limited to Todd County residents or students, but Groves says the younger categories do not have residency qualifications.
Groves adds she looks forward to growing the program and making it bigger and better each year, specifically by welcoming back former “Miss Todd County” winners.
The pageant will begin at 10 a.m. in the TCCHS auditorium. Information, rules, and entry forms can be found on the Chamber’s website. All participants must register online no later than April 17.
