The Todd County Senior Citizens Center will undergo a complete renovation project this year.
Center Director Charlotte Lyons shared an update with the Elkton Rotary Club last week during a program hosted by the United Way of the Pennyrile. Lyons said the funding for the renovation comes from a state grant awarded over a year ago.
She added they are looking for a space to be during the renovation.
The center, at 104 Morris Weathers Road, has been open for the last 25 years.
The $799,750 renovation project will be completed by C&C Contracting LLC, the group in charge of constructing the new Todd County Library – directly in front of the center.
