New North Todd Elementary Principal Announced

Todd County’s Superintendent Mark Thomas is excited to announce Laura Boley has been selected as North Todd Elementary School’s next principal.

According to the Todd County School District, Boley has 24 years worth of a wide variety of teaching and administrative experience, with expertise at the elementary school level. She has 13 years of classroom experience, two master’s degrees in education, and has served as a curriculum specialist, College Career Readiness Coach and Assistant Principal.

A Hopkinsville High School graduate, Boley’s teaching career began in the Clarksville-Montgomery County School System before transferring to Christian County Public Schools in 2000.

Boley says she is thrilled to be given the opportunity to lead and serve the students, staff, parents and community of North Todd. She looks forward to continuing the school’s traditions and providing students with an equitable education that prepares them for the future. She will assume her role July 1, 2024, and will be working closely with current principal Bruce Voth until transitioning into the position.

Boley lives in Elkton with her husband, Curt. They have four children and three grandchildren.

Opportunities for the school and community to meet Boley will be scheduled and announced by the district shortly.
