Amanda Evans is a 2007 graduate of Todd County Central High School.
She values how laid back the school was during her time there and remembers walking through the halls. Evans says she will always treasure the memory of her time in Ag classes.
After graduating, Evans attended Eastern Kentucky University and earned a master’s degree in occupational therapy, then Texas A&M University-Corpus Christi for an MBA in healthcare administration.
Evans advises current Todd Central students to go to community college if they need to — a four-year university is fun but it can wait a year.
To current educators, she says to try to educate well enough that a student can go to a university and succeed.
Evans was born in Clarksville, Tennessee and now lives in Georgetown, Texas with her husband Jacob Sherwood. She has one 16-month-old daughter, Madison.
