The WRUS radio family is mourning the loss of well-known broadcaster Don Neagle who passed away Tuesday morning at his home.
According to the WRUS Facebook page Neagle suffered a serious fall on February 7 and was hospitalized. He was never able to recover from the fall and was placed under hospice care.
Until his fall and injury February 7 Neagle hosted the Talkback Program on WRUS from 9 until 10 each weekday. WRUS General Manager Chris McGinnis said Neagle has been a part of WRUS for many years.

Don retired from hosting the WRUS morning show in 2022 and continued to host the Talkback call-in show until he was injured.
According to the News Democrat Leader Don Neagle began working as a broadcaster after graduating from the Greensburg, KY, High School in 1955. He spent three years working at radio stations in Campbellsville, Harrodsburg, Glasgow, and Bowling Green before he joined the staff at WRUS on September 1, 1958.
