Todd County Central High School Alumni Spotlight: Donna Coffman

Donna Deason Coffman is a 1981 graduate of Todd County Central High School.

She values most from her years there the many life-long friendships that she still has today with so many classmates. She has fond memories of cheering during basketball games and treasures the memory of celebrating prom in the beautifully decorated gym.

After graduating, she attended Hopkinsville Community College and earned an associate’s degree before receiving bachelor’s and master’s degrees in education from Austin Peay State University. She later received a Rank 1 in environment studies from Murray State University and would go on to teach at North Todd Elementary for 29 years.

Coffman advises current students to show respect for teachers, study hard and make great friends.

To current educators, she says to make sure they love and value their job every day.

Coffman was born in Christian County and now lives in Elkton with her husband Chris. She has two children, Chandler and Connor.
