The Todd County Animal Clinic, along with the generous help of Todd Countian Chris Hamby, is organizing a special giveaway to help students facing food insecurity.
Hamby says there are around 70 Todd County kids signed up for the Family Resource and Youth Services Center (FRYSC) Backpack Program, which sends students home with enough food for the weekend. He adds the program currently is experiencing a funding shortage and the animal clinic plans to sell raffle tickets in order to raise money.
First prize for the raffle is “A Night in Nashville” with four tickets to a Nashville Predators hockey game and a $300 gift certificate to The Palm Restaurant. Second prize is a $100 gift certificate to the Todd County Animal Clinic.
Those interested in entering the raffle can buy one ticket for $10 or six for $50. Stop by the clinic or call 270-265-5556 for more information or to purchase a ticket.
