A cremation service for 73-year old Gary Wayne Pentecost of Elkton will be held at a later date at Kentucky Veteran’s Cemetery West in Hopkinsville.
Latham Funeral Home is in charge of the arrangements.
Mr. Gary Wayne Pentecost, age 73 of Elkton, passed away 7:20 a.m., Monday, January 29, 2024 at his residence.
Gary was born in Louisville, KY on June 28, 1950. He was a heavy equipment operator and had previously been employed at Todd County Salvage. Gary was a U. S. Army veteran having served in the Vietnam War. He spent a lot of his time transporting Amish and watching wrestling. He was preceded in death by his mother, Ida Pentecost, his wife, Jane Elizabeth Stokes Pentecost and his sister, Phyllis Pentecost.
Survivors include his step-son, Robert Addison of Trenton, his grandchildren, Jennifer Jefferson of Clarksville and Jonathan Addison of Hopkinsville, his step-great grandchildren, Jacoby Clements, Shayla Addison, Autumn Bertha and Oaklen Addison.
