Mr. James “Skip” Cannon age 57 of Sharon Grove, passed away Monday, January 15, 2024, at 9:00 a.m. at his residence. Mr. Skip had requested a cremation service. The family will be hosting a Celebration of Life Service, at 1:00 p.m., Saturday, January 20, 2024, at their residence, 1570 Antioch Church Rd., Sharon Grove, KY 42280. Latham Funeral Home is in charge of the arrangements.
Mr. Skip was born on October 4, 1966, in Hampton, Virginia. He had been previously employed by Refine Tile in Elkton. He was preceded in death by his parents, James Robert Sr. and Patricia Ann Hepler Cannon, his son, Joshua Cannon, and his stepson, Samuel Montgomery.
Survivors include his wife, Cheri Montgomery of Sharon Grove, his sons, Jonathan Cannon of Oregon and Jarod Cannon of Sharon Grove; his step-sons, James Montgomery of Clarksville, TN and Cameron Montgomery of Elkton; his step-daughter, Aamber Montgomery-Corp of Virginia and 16 grandchildren.
