Christopher Wayne Sweeney is a 1988 graduate of Todd County Central High School.
After graduating, he attended Western Kentucky University. Sweeney worked in the hotel industry for 14 years before starting work at the National Corvette Museum, where he currently works and has been working for the last 15 years.
Sweeney values his friendships the most from Todd Central. No matter where he goes and what he does, he says he is a Todd Countian, and when he comes back to visit he is always one of their own. He has fond memories of friends, school staff and his athletic coaches and says Todd Central will always be home.
To current students, Sweeney says to enjoy every moment because time is a thief. To current educators, he says good or bad, they will make a lasting impression and impact those they teach.
Sweeney was born in Hopkinsville and now lives in Scottsville. He has six children, Landon, Annie, Luke, Chloe, Claire and Levi.
