Billy Wayne Noel, age 70 of Fairview, passed away at 12:25 a.m., Sunday, December 24, 2023, at his residence. Services will be on Thursday, December 28, 2023, at 1:00 p.m. at Tabernacle Church of Worship with Rev. Melvin Byler officiating. Burial will follow in the Tabernacle Cemetery. Visitation will be on Thursday, December 28, 2023, from 11:00 a.m. until the funeral hour at 1:00 p.m. at the church. Latham Funeral Home is in charge of arrangements.
Mr. Noel was born July 28, 1953, in Christian County. He was a self-employed painter. Also, he was a member of Northwest Baptist Church in Hopkinsville. Mr. Noel was a member of the Fairview, Pembroke, and Westside Fire Departments for over 40 years. He loved to paint, draw pictures, hunt, and ride motorcycles. He is preceded in death by his parents John Noel Jr and Nelly Greenfield Noel, his stepson David Wayne Tillman, and his stepdaughter Teresa Joyce Waldrop.
He is survived by his wife Brenda Floyd Noel of Fairview, KY, his mother in law Mary Faye Floyd of Elkton, his brothers Johnny Wayne Noel and Allan Wayne Noel both of Hopkinsville, KY, his sisters Brenda Cameron and Belinda McCaine both of Hopkinsville, KY and 2 step-grandchildren and 2 step-great-grandchildren.
