Chester Selected As Todd County Schools’ Community Education Director

Todd County Schools Superintendent Mark Thomas announced Tuesday the appointment of Amy Chester as the district’s new Community Education Director.

Thomas expressed his excitement about having Chester join the district in this role. She graduated from Western Kentucky University with a degree in Print and Editorial Journalism. Prior to her August 1st retirement, she worked for 23 years as a Kentucky Probation and Parole Officer and Supervisor. Currently, she is employed as a reporter for WEKT and the Kentucky New Era. Additionally, she is a licensed Kentucky real estate agent with Keller Williams.

Outside of her professional life, Chester is an active member of the Pleasant Grove Church of Christ in Guthrie. She has a passion for reading and writing and enjoys traveling to visit her daughter, who serves in the Air Force, as well as watching her son play college baseball.

Chester also has four bonus children and two bonus granddaughters. Originally from Smiths Grove, she now resides in Trenton with her husband Tim, and their dog Sage.
