North Todd Elementary is extending its Cold Weather Gear Drive through Nov. 10.
Family Resource Coordinator Emily Buis says the organizers are looking for used coats, gloves, hats, blankets, and other items suited for the colder months, which students will use to create cold weather gear bags for the homeless.
She adds the project is a great way to teach kids to pay it forward.
Items can be turned in to North or South Todd Elementary Family Resource Center.
