Regina and Anthony Combs are both 1974 graduates from Todd County Central High School.
The couple says they value friends, teachers and sports most from their years at Todd Central. The people there were friendly – they recall being able to leave their cars unlocked, even when carrying guns from early morning hunting trips before school. They say they were united as a school and proud of being Rebels.
To current students, the Combs say to study, try hard and be different – you don’t have to be a follower. To current educators, to do your best because it’s the future of tomorrow you are teaching today. Also, to retire early.
After graduating, Mrs. Combs went to Lois Glyn Beauty School while Mr. Combs was a boiler maker in the Navy. He later attended plumbing school. They have one child, Travis Combs and now live in Sharon Grove, Kentucky.
They say they will always treasure the memory of being a Todd County Rebel.
