The South West Kentucky EDC is not only seeking new industries but is also working with existing industries on expansion and employee retention.
Executive Director Carter Hendricks says working with existing businesses and industry is a critical part of economic development.
Hendricks says finding those employees a place in the regional workforce is important.
He says the Ignite program is designed to help young people find their career path.
The South West Kentucky EDC is responsible for recruiting and retaining industry in Christian, Trigg, and Todd Counties.
