A wreck on South Streets Avenue in Elkton led to the road being temporarily blocked Wednesday morning.
Elkton Police say a truck driven by 47-year-old Shawn Alfrey of Elkton veered off the roadway, went up an embankment, and through a front yard before it struck a utility pole and a fire hydrant.
Alfrey suffered minor injuries and refused treatment by EMS. The crash happened at the 200 block of South Streets Avenue causing the road to be blocked as the utility pole is replaced.
