After receiving over three inches of rain throughout Todd County Thursday morning, many areas remain flooded.
Daniel Smith, the Emergency Manager of Todd County, informed Your WEKT News Edge that floodwaters had flowed onto several roads in Elkton and Guthrie, and Tress Shop Road/Kentucky 475 near the intersection with John Hightower Road was also flooded.
Smith added that residents need to stay off the roads Thursday afternoon, but if you must be out, he reminds everyone to turn around and don’t drown.
