A home on Sharon Grove Road was damaged and a firefighter was injured in a house fire Thursday morning.
Sharon Grove Firefighters say lightning is believed to have struck an antenna causing a fire in the crawl space under the home.
While firefighters were working to extinguish the fire, a vehicle an Elkton firefighter was in was struck by lightning and he was transported to Logan Memorial Hospital for possible injuries.
The family will be temporarily displaced due to the damage to the home.
Firefighters from Sharon Grove, Elkton, and Allegre were called to the home located at 224 Sharon Grove Road just before 6 am.
