The Guthrie Heritage Day Festival is set to return on Friday and Saturday, bringing with it a chance for the community to enjoy several activities.
Deputy Clerk Connie Wofford, speaking to Your WEKT News Edge, announced that auction items will be sold on both days.
Wofford mentioned that there will be a wide variety of items up for auction.
In addition to the auction, the festival will also feature live music from bands such as the Todd County Boys, Rewind Band, and Tyrone Dunn, among others.
Wofford adds other activities will take place inside Guthrie’s senior citizens center.
Furthermore, the festival’s pageant is still accepting entries. Those interested can sign up at Salon 201 starting at 4:45 p.m. on Friday. The pageant itself will begin at 5:30 inside the senior center.
