The Todd County Funeral Home is honored to have been called to serve the family of Mr. Paul Addison.
Mr. Paul Addison, age 84 of Elkton, passed away on Tuesday, September 5th at the Jennie Stuart Medical Center in Hopkinsville.
He was born April 11, 1939, in Todd County the son of the late Gaither and Beulah Hightower Addison.
Mr. Addison was a Veteran of the United States Army, retired from Southern States, and was an active member of the Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-Day Saints, Elkton Ward where he served as Bishop twice as well as Sunday School President. He loved his family, fishing, and bird hunting.
In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by one daughter, Selena Francies; three brothers, Johnny Addison, William Ford Addison, and Gaither David Addison and three sisters, Joyce Addison, Mary Wandler, and Elista Bock. He is survived by his wife, Ann Addison of Elkton; one son, Ralph Addison (Christine) of Russellville; one daughter, Tammy Judkins of Cerulean; two brothers, Joseph Addison of Louisville and George Addison of Elkton; one sister, Peggy Griggs of Elkton; eight grandchildren and four great-grandchildren.
Visitation with the Addison family will be held on Friday, September 8th from 11:00 until funeral service time at 1:00 in the Rose Chapel of the Todd County Funeral Home with Bishop Steven Oliver and Brother Bob Bock officiating. Interment to follow at the Cerulean Cemetery in Cerulean, Kentucky.
