The Todd County Board of Education will hold a public hearing on Thursday at 5:00 PM to hear comments regarding a proposed tax levy that would increase the rate by 1 cent per $100 of assessed value.
The proposed 46.6 cents per $100 rate applies to real and personal property tax rates. The rate is expected to produce over $3.78 million; of that amount, over $639,000 is from new and personal property.
